PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE & FACILITIES TECHNICIAN | Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 11:00am to 7:30pm

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Clean interior and exterior surfaces of production machines and equipment
  • Sweep, mop, and maintain production floor areas and workstations
  • Clean around, under, and between machines, including tight and hard-to-reach areas
  • Empty trash and recycling within the production floor (housekeeping supports other areas)
  • Clean walls, ceilings, vents, and other surfaces as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness during active production operations while working safely around equipment
  • Follow established cleaning schedules and routines

Equipment Care & Maintenance Responsibilities:

  • Complete scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on production equipment and accessories according to manufacturer guidelines
  • Perform daily equipment readiness checks to ensure machines are clean, functional, and ready for production
  • Maintain equipment in a clean, organized, and production-ready condition at all times
  • Review equipment manuals and follow required maintenance procedures
  • Coordinate with production leadership to schedule downtime for maintenance and cleaning activities
  • Take ownership of tracking and completing maintenance work, including use of a ticketing system if implemented

Safety & Organization:

  • Use cleaning supplies and equipment safely and in accordance with company standards
  • Identify and report safety hazards, spills, or areas needing attention
  • Maintain organization and proper storage of cleaning tools and supplies

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in performing quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and stay on task with minimal supervision.
  • Mechanical curiosity and willingness to learn equipment processes.
  • Reliable attendance and consistent performance.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety expectations.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus (not required):

  • Experience with cleaning, maintenance, or manufacturing equipment.
  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance practices.

PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
  • Repetitive arm and hand movement throughout the shift
  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Working in tight spaces and around active equipment
  • Exposure to noise, machinery, and standard production environment conditions
  • Proper PPE required per ESI Safety Policy and OSHA standards

SCHEDULE

  • Full-time, on-site.
  • Pay is dependent on previous experience.
  • Monday – Friday 11AM - 7:30PM
  • 37 - 40 hours per week (depending on production overtime on Fridays)
